What We Look For at Advanced Smile Dental Clinic
Your first visit with us means getting acquainted with your general and oral health. It is important to tell us everything that is troubling you with your teeth and mouth.
Insight into your general health – In order not to observe your mouth isolated from the whole organism, it’s important that we know what your general health is. We need to know if you have some chronical disease, whether you are taking some medication, whether you are allergic to some substances. This is especially important in order to know which medicines we can use in your case.
X-ray– in addition to clinical examination, the X-ray analysis is an integral part of every visit to our office. This can allow us to see what the condition of your teeth, roots, and jaw bones is.
Examination of teeth – a review of all teeth will determine whether there is any cavity and what is the condition of your old fillings and crowns.
Examination of gums – gums are an integral part of the tooth support structure and it tells us a lot about its health. The inflamed gums are the initial stage of the periodontal disease and this condition needs immediate treatment.
Removing tart and plaque – if you do not brush your teeth well, food deposits stay on them and in combination with bacteria convert to a soft plaque on the teeth. Over time, the minerals from the saliva are embedded in the plaque and tart and calculus forms. Removal of plaque makes a basic intervention for healthy gums.
Polishing teeth – after removing tart and plaque, it is important to polish teeth well so that the surface remains smooth. Smooth surface is not a good foundation for capturing a new plaque and tart, and thus your teeth will remain protected for a longer period of time. Also, by polishing the teeth, we remove dark deposits and pigments from food, drinks, tobacco etc.
Training on oral hygiene – each patient will be provided with quality oral hygiene training so that your teeth stay healthy and beautiful.
